Scandinavian production, 1950s.

The thin, slender structure of this 1950s Scandinavian floor lamp extends from a tripod base, from which two long black-painted metal stems rise at different heights. The two conical white fabric lampshades accentuate the vertical, slightly divergent movement of the composition. At the base of the stems, a gold-plated metal coil adds a decorative detail that contrasts with the black of the structure, while the switch is inserted directly into the central body. The "S" mark, still visible on the base, testifies to its original production, but does not currently allow for a definitive attribution of the manufacturer. Good condition. May show signs of wear.
