High-back reading chair, Scandinavian production, 1960s. The slender teak frame leaves the padding almost entirely to the fore, defined by a generous seat and a high, slightly inclined backrest. The linear uprights and long, contoured armrests introduce a sense of lightness, contrasting with the continuous volume of the upholstered section. On the backrest, six regularly arranged covered buttons create a subtle capitonné workmanship, while the clearly textured fabric emphasizes the armchair's material character. A design inspired by 1960s Scandinavian design, which focused on combining comfort and simple construction. Good condition. May show signs of wear. Please refer to the photographs carefully. See less
