Large pair of large vintage Florentine wall sconces, showcasing classic mid-century Italian craftsmanship.
Made from intricately shaped tole (gilded iron), each piece features a dynamic, organic design composed of flowing acanthus leaves, curling vines, and delicate floral blossoms finished in a warm, textured gold leaf gilt.
with their impressive vertical presence and sculpted botanical details, these three-dimensional wall lights beautifully bridge the gap between functional lighting and fine art. Each sconce is engineered with four gracefully integrated light sources that provide a multi-layered, radiant glow, casting beautiful shadows against surrounding wall surfaces. This pair serves as an exquisite statement choice for a formal living room, an elegant entryway, or flanking a grand hallway mirror.
Good vintage condition. The structural metalwork remains robust and structurally sound. The original gold leaf gilding displays a beautiful, authentic patina with minor age-appropriate wear and light oxidation that enhances its antique character.
