Each chair features an elaborately hand-carved crest with scrolling acanthus foliage, beautifully turned barley twist uprights, and finely carved block details throughout the frame. The richly patinated oak has developed a warm, deep color over more than a century, highlighting the crisp carving and elegant proportions.

The chairs retain their original decorative upholstery in an elegant blue and cream woven fabric with a classical vase motif, secured with individually applied brass upholstery tacks. The textile complements the dark oak beautifully and enhances the stately architectural appearance of the chairs.

Presented in excellent antique condition with a wonderful, untouched patina. The frames are structurally sound and sturdy, while the upholstery remains clean and highly presentable, making the chairs immediately suitable for both everyday use and decorative interiors. See less
