A pair of festive, elegant silver baskets with a square base, standing on four spherical feet; the sides gently curved … Read more A pair of festive, elegant silver baskets with a square base, standing on four spherical feet; the sides gently curved outwards and featuring regular vertical and diagonal cut-outs, each side with an oval medallion in the centre, encircled by a laurel wreath, as well as all-round laurel festoons; the upper, curved rim edged with all-round diagonal bands. Each has a matching glass insert, curved at the top edge to match the silver vessel, with a fan-cut pattern and a large cut star at the base. Made circa 1910.
