Model 8023 "Counter Balance" arc lamp in white lacquered steel by Robert Haussmann for Swiss Lamps International from the 1980s.
This elegantly constructed lamp can be adjusted in multiple ways to create optimal lighting conditions. At the same time, its sophisticated design makes it appear as a movable sculpture in the room.
The stepped, rotating and tilting shade is attached to a long arc, which is balanced by a solid counterweight sphere.
The arc can be adjusted in height and angle, as well as rotated around the double flat steel frame.
The brightness of the light can be continuously adjusted using a dimmer switch.
A heavy, round metal base with a diameter of 35 cm serves as the stand. This piece has an attribution mark,
