The headboard's decorative paint and carving are in good vintage condition with a gorgeous aged patina and minor cosmetic scuffs. However, there is significant structural damage where the side rail meets the vintage hook-and-slot mounting hardware. Additionally, a decorative wood trim piece is missing from the left side at the foot of the bed. Mattress Sizing Guide: This frame is a standard antique Three-Quarter (3/4) size bed, which sits perfectly between a modern Twin and a modern Full. While standard big-box mattresses will not fit, custom-sized 3/4 mattresses are widely manufactured today and can be easily ordered online through specialized bedding retailers or custom foam mattress makers.
