Statement-making tuxedo-style sofa with a channel-tufted "gondola" back — a nod to 1960s Hollywood Regency design. Upholstered in a sage green velvet with matching bolster pillows and used exclusively in a professional studio production setting — never in a residential home, therefore pet-free and smoke-free its entire life.
Some natural patina and light wear on the back corners and upholstered feet from styling and handling during shoots (see photos), frame is solid and upholstery is otherwise in good condition.
Maker unknown.

A note on the velvet: like all pile fabrics, this sofa's velvet naturally shifts in tone depending on the direction of the nap and the angle of light — a characteristic of quality velvet, not a flaw. It can be brushed or combed in one direction for a more uniform, freshly-pressed look. less
