Handcrafted in Bohemia, in the region of present-day Czech Republic, the piece reflects the celebrated glassmaking tradition for which Bohemian crystal became internationally admired.

The decanter has a distinctive flattened oval form, with thick clear crystal sections sweeping around the amber central panels. The contrasting colors create beautiful depth and reflection, particularly when the glass catches the light.

The amber panels are decorated with finely executed frosted floral, leaf and botanical motifs, providing an elegant contrast against the transparent crystal. The decoration continues onto the matching stopper, visually connecting the two elements and completing the composition.

The substantial faceted stopper features clear and amber crystal with coordinating floral ornamentation. It fits neatly into the fluted neck and gives the decanter an especially decorative silhouette.

Suitable as functional barware or purely as a collectible decorative object, this piece would display beautifully in a drinks cabinet, vitrine, dining room, bar area or collection of antique Bohemian glass.
