Discover a truly rare collector's piece from Henredon.
A truly exceptional find for serious collectors of high-end furniture. This Henredon chest of drawers was constructed as a unique prototype for a prospective "Seven Continents" design group line that never went into mass production. Because this is an unreleased factory build, it does not bear a stamped manufacturer brand mark on the wood itself. However, it is fully authenticated and accompanied by official provenance papers and original factory documentation verifying its Henredon origin. Featuring an exquisite contemporary-meets-classic look, the piece uses the exact high-end materials designated for the Seven Continents group. The piece features a stunning combination of rich mahogany solids wrapped in premium rosewood and highly figured walnut burl veneers. The undeniable focal point is a massive, structural statement handle beautifully wrapped in genuine tortoise shell. Weighing approximately 150 lbs, this substantial piece has been meticulously preserved, unused, in pristine vintage condition.
