The design combines an eight-pointed geometric center with scrolling vines, stylized flowers, leaves and a scalloped architectural border, giving the composition a refined Moorish/Ottoman-inspired character. Close inspection reveals several embroidery techniques, including fine metallic couching and densely worked bullion-style details that provide subtle texture and dimension.

Presented under glass with a generous ivory mat accented by fine ruled borders. The substantial dark wood frame is finished with a distressed gilt inner molding, creating a sophisticated designer presentation.
