Designed in the manner of early 20th-century travel trunks, the piece has a wonderfully collected, old-world appearance and works beautifully as an oversized coffee table, storage trunk or statement piece in a library, den or living room.

A decorative metal presentation plaque mounted to the top is inscribed with a 1914 date and adds to the trunk's historic-inspired character. The plaque has not been authenticated and the trunk is being offered as a later decorative/vintage piece rather than as a documented 1914 antique. See less
