A generously scaled vintage Mexican cast-aluminum serving bowl attributed to Old Town Imports.
Modeled as a stylized scallop shell, the oval bowl features deeply molded radial fluting, a sculptural scalloped rim, smooth central well, and highly polished silver finish. The reflective surface gives the piece a luminous presence and beautifully captures the surrounding light.
Its substantial proportions make it equally suited to use as a dining-table centerpiece, fruit bowl, serving piece, or sculptural console accent.
The form and dimensions closely correspond to documented Old Town Imports scallop-shell bowls. This example retains an original “Hecho en México” label on the underside but does not display a clearly readable maker’s signature; the attribution is therefore offered cautiously.
