The detailed central composition depicts a four-horse carriage, figures in period dress, a village building and a small dog in the foreground.

The scene is surrounded by an elaborate high-relief border of fruit, foliage and scrolling ornament, crowned by a distinctive Green Man-style mask. The aged brass surface has developed a warm, naturally varied patina that emphasizes the depth and detail of the embossed decoration.

A hanging ring is incorporated into the reverse, with the hanger stamped “Made in England.” At approximately 23 inches in diameter, this is an impressive decorative piece with wonderful presence for an English Country, traditional, eclectic or collected interior.

Dimensions: Approximately 23" diameter × 1.5" D.

Condition: Good vintage display condition with age-related patina, surface wear and scattered oxidation consistent with age. There is a crack along the outer rim at the left side and several smaller separations within portions of the raised decorative border. Verdigris is present, particularly around the reverse hanging hardware. These imperfections are considerably less noticeable when the charger is viewed from the front and displayed on the wall.
