After emigrating with his family to Israel, he began carving olive wood in 1980 before eventually expanding his practice into casting bronze.
His semi-abstract bronze and wood sculptures share a distinct stylistic affinity with mid-20th-century masters like Henry Moore and Barbara Hepworth. His work is celebrated for its fluid, organic lines, smooth patinas, and exploration of human relationships, companionship, and form.
