The piece presents a substantial rectangular top with a soft bullnose edge and a deep, rich espresso walnut patina that glows with age and depth. The entire apron is masterfully hand-carved with a continuous frieze of stylized Gothic scrollwork, acanthus, and lyre motifs - a beautiful, deeply incised border that frames the table with architectural presence, as captured in the close-up details.

The base is the true showpiece: twin monumental lyre-shaped trestle legs, powerfully carved from solid wood into a fluid, undulating S-scroll that terminates in bold, scrolled feet with carved volutes. The trestles are joined by a central turned finial stretcher, crowned with a large, hand-turned orb finial - a classic element of Spanish Baroque furniture.

The finish is superb - a layered, hand-rubbed antique walnut stain with lighter honey highlights where decades of use have naturally worn the wood, creating incredible depth and character. This is not a reproduction sheen, but a true aged, waxed patina with beautiful texture.
