Hand-signed "Guebara" (Guevara?) with a distinctive incised script on the unglazed base, this individual artisan vessel features an elegantly proportioned ovoid silhouette.

The form tapers cleanly down to a stable flat base, perfectly balanced by a subtle, beautifully ringed neck opening.

The true standout of the piece is its velvety, tactile matte green glaze, exhibiting a finely detailed mottled finish reminiscent of historical Arts & Crafts "cucumber" glaze traditions. The earthy, organic mossy green acts as a striking structural neutral, making it an excellent statement piece for a modernist mantel, a rustic tabletop arrangement, or a curated bookshelf. This vase is a phenomenal find for collectors of signed studio ceramics or anyone seeking to infuse an interior layout with an organic modern or mid-century aesthetic. See less
