The impressive center opal is secured by substantial prongs and framed by a distinctive segmented surround of 24 round-cut diamonds. Center opal is approximately 23 mm x 14 mm x 5 mm with a 24 .03 round cut diamond surround. Current ring size is 8.5; open shank allows size adjustment. The ring features a substantial open adjustable shank with overlapping rounded terminals, allowing some flexibility in fit while comfortably supporting the large opal and diamond setting. This balances the scale of the center stone while giving the ring a luxurious presence on the hand. This ring weighs 17.72 grams total weight and has no hallmarks, however, ring tests 18K white gold.
