Up for sale is a very high quality antique 19th century handmade parquetry wooden sewing/jewelry box.
The piece has very intricate detailing done in a marquetry style and the box has acquired a nice patina from age. It is beautifully inlaid with several geometric patterns out of many different typed of wooden veneer.
It has a beveled glass mirror under the lid trimmed with velour and several compartments along with a removable tray.
The box is in good condition, is a very nice size, and measures 14 inches long by 9 inches wide by 7 inches tall. There is some wear and small losses to the veneer but overall in excellent condition.
