Isfahan Rug from the 1960s. The wool used, the so-called Korkwollen, is shorn at the neck of the lamb. It makes it possible to spin particularly thin and durable threads that make the rug very close. This rug is extremely carefully worked and developed very detailed.
Characteristics:
- Isfahan rug
- hand-knotted
- about 640,000 knots per m2
- age 50-60 years
- 100% virgin wool
All our rugs are cleaned in a professional rug laundry. The first step of cleaning consists in thorough clap of the rug to remove dust and, if necessary, mites. Stain the subsequent prewash with a pH-neutral soap. At the main linen, the rug is washed by hand through and wet - a special soap protects the fibers and gets the natural wool fat of the rug. By mechanical pressing and spinning, a first drainage takes place to allow the rugs to be dried on permanent circulating air hanging.
