Enhance your home's Feng Shui and add a vibrant pop of color with this striking pair of Vintage Shiwan Ware Guardian Beasts. Handcrafted and richly glazed, these mythical creatures—often referred to as Pixiu or Foo Dogs—are traditional symbols of protection, wealth, and good fortune.
Design & Symbolism:
The Mythical Beast (Pixiu): Known in Chinese culture as the "divine beast" that attracts wealth and wards off evil spirits.
Vivid Glazes: The statues feature a stunning palette of emerald green, deep crimson, ochre, and cream. The intricate scale patterns on their bodies and the bold, expressive faces are characteristic of Shiwan folk art.
The Pair: They are posed dynamically—one with its paw resting on a coin or orb (symbolizing the securing of wealth), and the other with a raised head and alert expression. Together, they create a balanced, powerful presence.
