A lovely handcrafted lidded box made on a red copper base, decorated with traditional Chinese painted enamel artwork.
The bright yellow ground is adorned with ripe longevity peaches and colourful bats. In Chinese culture, peaches symbolize longevity, and bats represent good fortune, making this a classic auspicious Chinoiserie motif. The box has a scalloped flower-shaped rim with polished metal trim.
Perfect for storing small treasures, jewelry, trinkets, stamps or incense powder. A beautiful decorative accent for vanity tables, display shelves, office or living room styling.
