The decoration on both chests was created at the peak of this art. This chest displays delicate floral decoration in greens, pinks and white playing against a soft blue-gray ground in the Scandinavian tradition. Constructed of sturdy Baltic pine and reinforced with blacksmith made wrought iron fittings. The lock is still intact and has a working key. See less
