The central stem twists upward and divides into three sculptural arms of varying heights, each curving with the naturalistic asymmetry of a growing vine before terminating in a flat circular candle plate fitted with a central pricket to secure a taper. Along the lower stem, a stylized blossom with layered, hand-tooled petals unfurls beside two veined leaf forms — one upright, one gently drooping — adding botanical whimsy and a sense of movement to the otherwise architectural silhouette. The entire piece is finished in a rich verdigris patina, its blue-green oxidation pooling naturally in the recesses of the leaves and petals while allowing the darker bronze-toned metal beneath to show through on the raised, higher-contact surfaces. This tonal interplay lends real depth and an authentically aged, hand-wrought character rarely achieved in reproduction pieces.
