The exterior showcases richly figured wood grain, with dramatic, flowing patterns of light and dark striations creating a natural, almost painterly visual texture across the vessel's smooth, rounded surface. The warm honey-gold tones deepen and lighten in irregular waves that follow the wood's natural growth patterns, showcasing the beauty of the timber selection while lending each piece an individual, one-of-a-kind character. A copper liner sits discreetly within the vessel's interior, its aged surface developing a rich verdigris patina over time that speaks to years of natural oxidation, adding both a practical, water-resistant function for planting purposes and an appealing textural contrast to the smooth wood exterior. This thoughtful pairing of substantial turned wood and aged copper metalwork exemplifies a considered, materials-forward approach to functional decorative objects, balancing natural warmth with an industrial, weathered accent.

This planter makes a lovely accent for a console table, mantel, or entryway, ideal for showcasing a favorite plant or displayed purely as a sculptural wood object. It complements Rustic, Organic Modern, Japandi, and Wabi-Sabi interiors particularly well. Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth, and if used for live plants, ensure adequate drainage protection to preserve the wood exterior from prolonged moisture exposure. The planter measures 10¾ inches in width, 10¾ inches in depth, and 8 inches in height. It presents in very good condition, with an original wood finish and warm, natural patina consistent with age, minor surface scuffs and light wear typical for vintage wood items, and full structural soundness with no significant damage or repairs.
