This stunning trolley is suitable for serving cooked meats such as roast beef, lamb and turkey. It features a vented silver plated locking retractable revolving dome which opens to a detachable well and water tank over a spirit burner. The water tank has two recesses for containers for gravy or vegetables, as well as an aluminium carving board. It has a vented screw knob for filling the tank with water and for steam to escape. The sides are fitted with silver plated handle, a detachable plate holder, and a rectangular silver plate utensil tray. The substantial wooden base is crafted from solid oak with a rich, polished honey finish, detailed with an unengraved metal plaque on a security chain. The unit is raised on four robust, fluted architectural column legs linked by a sturdy H-stretcher platform, riding on heavy-duty, commercial-grade smooth swivel rubber casters. This superb piece was crafted by one of the finest silversmith of the time. Serve your roast beef in style!
