Designed by the French engineer Jean-Louis Domecq in the 1950s, he devised a fantastic system using sliding contacts in the arm-to-arm connections. This allows the lamp to be positioned in virtually any possible angle. We disassembled this lamp, cleaned it, polished it, and applied a coat of clear lacquer. We then mounted the lamp on a heavy cast iron base and fitted it with a new twisted black fabric cord and plug. This lamp is adjustable in height from a minimum of 55 cm to a maximum of 220 cm. Some of the lamp's arms have minor dents due to heavy use in the workshop, as can be seen in the last photos. An industrial classic that will look stunning in your living room or reading nook.
