Part of the iconic 1968 Country House series, this specific model is affectionately known as "Ahkeraliisa" or "Busy Lizzie." Mold-blown to perfection, the vase showcases a playful and whimsical girl-shaped silhouette, reflecting Tynell’s signature rustic and curvy design language. The deep, earthy olive green shade makes it a perfect statement piece for contemporary interiors, tying beautifully into nature-inspired color palettes. Its deeply tactile, chunky glass form—complete with charming raised button details, a stylized joyous expression, and heavily textured dimensional edges—adds incredible depth and visual interest to any space. Produced for a very short period between 1968 and 1969, this rare vase is a striking example of mid-century Scandinavian glass art. It effortlessly bridges the gap between folk-art charm and sophisticated modernist design, making it a highly sought-after object for today's curated and eclectic interiors. See less
