Elegant rectangular tray in the Blue Fluted Plain porcelain series, featuring softly curved edges and classic hand-painted cobalt-blue decoration on a fluted body. A beautiful and less common form from Royal Copenhagen’s early 20th-century production. Origin: Denmark, Royal Copenhagen. Material: Porcelain. Dimensions: H. 3 cm, L. 24 cm. Period: 1920s. Condition: Very good condition with light signs of wear. First factory quality. “Blue Fluted Plain” was introduced in 1775 as Royal Copenhagen’s first service and has since become an icon of Danish porcelain. The hand-painted decoration varies subtly from piece to piece, reflecting the individual craftsmanship of each decorator. See less
