PT950 Platinum Sapphire and Diamond Cluster Ring. At the center is a round faceted blue sapphire weighing approximately 0.91 carat, displaying a rich, saturated blue that contrasts beautifully with the cool white platinum setting. The sapphire is encircled by a halo of 12 round brilliant-cut diamonds totaling approximately 0.65 carat, arranged in a graceful floral or rosette formation. Individual prong settings allow light to enter the stones while creating the lively brilliance characteristic of this classic cluster design. A platinum sizing bar has been professionally soldered to the inside of the shank, and the interior is signed “Tiffany & Co.” Ring is a size 8 and weighs approximately 6.6 grams total weight. Marked Tiffany & Co. PT 950 on inner band, identifying both the maker and the 950 platinum fineness. . Original Tiffany & Co. Fifth Avenue New York store purchase receipt dated 1972, as well as a Tiffany & Co. appraisal dated 1979 are included in this sale providing period documentation and provenance. 1979 appraisal for $2000 is approximately $16,000 at current market value.
