Danish pair of club chairs in burgundy velvet, likely by a Danish Cabinetmaker, 1950s. Each chair has a gently channelled, barrel-shaped back that curves into tightly rolled scroll arms, giving the pair a compact, enclosing form.
The seat sits deep and low, with a fringed skirt concealing short, turned feet below. The rounded back and arms are built as one continuous sweep, giving the chairs a soft, sculptural profile from every angle.
