Each stand has a raised gallery rail along three sides of the top, formed by the extended posts of the tapered legs. A single drawer sits below, dovetailed at the corners and fitted with cast brass pulls in a scrolling foliate design. The apron beneath the drawer is cut in a shallow scalloped line, softening the otherwise straight profile. Legs taper from a squared shoulder to a narrow foot, joined directly into the case with no stretchers.

The gallery top and turned, tapered legs give a light, tray-like silhouette, while the brass hardware and scalloped apron add a softer, more decorative note. Compact footprint suits either side of a bed or as a small lamp table. A well-made, honestly constructed pair. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
