Originating from the Ningxia region, renowned for its distinctive scholarly designs, the composition utilizes a spacious, open field, characteristic of the refined aesthetic favored during this period.

The field is rendered in a soft, luminous beige color rugs, providing a perfect ground for the delicate interplay of motifs rendered primarily in indigo and mustard yellow. A central circular medallion, executed in deep indigo and subtle russet tones, anchors the design, while stylized floral and vine elements float across the surface, interspersed with traditional Chinese auspicious symbols.

The iconography is precise and restrained, featuring the flowing, calligraphic lines typical of Ningxia work rather than the dense patterning of other regional styles. The main border is narrow and dark, providing a strong visual frame that contrasts sharply with the light field, emphasizing the rug's overall clarity and balance.
