The bowl appears to be shaped from a solid piece of wood or built with a substantial, continuous body, its interior polished to a smoother, warmer honey tone that contrasts subtly with the slightly darker, richer caramel finish of the outer rim and sides. Fine, even grain runs throughout, visible in soft striations across both the interior basin and exterior surface, giving the piece a cohesive, organic quality. The bowl is elevated on three slender, tapered dowel legs, splayed outward at a gentle angle in the manner of mid-century Scandinavian design, lending the piece a light, hovering presence despite its substantial size. Minor surface scratches, small nicks along the rim, and light surface staining within the well are visible, adding an authentic, well-loved patina that speaks to years of use as a functional centerpiece. The elongated silhouette and tripod base give the bowl real sculptural presence, equally suited to display or use.

Place this bowl at the center of a dining table as a striking catchall for fruit or decorative objects, or use it on a console or sideboard as a standalone sculptural piece. Its sleek, tapered-leg silhouette suits Mid-Century Modern, Scandinavian, Organic Modern, Japandi, and Eclectic interiors. The bowl measures 20¼ inches wide, 6¾ inches deep, and 5½ inches high. Dust regularly with a soft cloth and apply a food-safe wood oil or wax occasionally to maintain the finish; avoid soaking or placing directly in water. The bowl is in very good vintage condition, with an original finish and warm patina, minor surface scratches and small nicks on the rim consistent with light use, and no visible repairs or losses.
