Original 1890 map depicting the neighboring villages of Brunswick and Topsham, Maine, situated along the Androscoggin River. Published in period atlas editions by George N. Colby & Co. or J.H. Stuart & Co., the map provides a detailed view of the communities, showing streets, buildings, property divisions, rail lines, waterways, and other period features.
Of particular interest is the prominently identified Bowdoin College campus at lower left, with its grounds and individual buildings illustrated. Presented with a wide taupe mat in a richly figured wood frame. Very good condition.
