This beautiful vintage Chinese round lacquer lidded box features deeply carved relief work with swirling floral scroll patterns, highlighted in vibrant blue, red, green and gilded gold accents.
The bulbous circular form is entirely covered with interlocking winding vines and blooming flower carvings, showcasing traditional Chinese lacquer craftsmanship. A polished gilded band separates the lid and base, with another gilded foot at the bottom.
Ideal for storing rings, earrings, small jewelry and keepsakes. It makes a striking standalone decorative piece for shelves, vanities, curio cabinets, and a wonderful Chinoiserie home accent or gift.
