1920s rolling bakery display case manufactured by Parnall & Sons for Gray, Dunn & Co. of Glasgow, Scotland. The substantial wood case features four glazed merchandise compartments arranged in two tiers, each fitted with a hinged glass-front door and brass hardware. A long advertising panel across the top reads "GRAY, DUNN & CO'S BISCUITS & CAKES." The case is finished in a rich blue paint, likely applied later, and rests on four casters for mobility. Originally designed for the retail display and sale of biscuits, cakes, and other baked goods.
