We took inspiration from the shape of the bolete mushroom and molded it into a table base. A sophisticated companion to any lounge area.

the bolete side table comes in 2 sizes and a range of finishes. The naked editions of the bolete side tables embody a refined expression of material innovation and natural beauty.

crafted using an advanced, 100% biodegradable resin, each piece is enveloped in a durable yet exquisitely tactile finish that enhances the integrity of the mycelium-based composite. Matched to a truly amazing table top made from fused glass shards.

this translucent resin unveils the material’s raw, fibrous soul, celebrating its organic origins. No two pieces are alike. Each reveals its own distinctive interplay of texture, tone, and depth.

the bolete’s core material is made from mycelium based composite (mbc), an innovative organic material.

mycelium is the underground network through which forests communicate. A branching web of threads that binds, nourishes, and renews. Combined with hemp fibre, mycelium grows into a material of surprising rigidity, warmth, and textural depth.

the manufacturing process, in the netherlands, is as harmless to people and the environment as the material itself, being completey free of toxins or synthetics. And at the end of its life, each piece of mbc composts fully, returning to the same earth that made it.

the final product is a solid, dry, and inert product. It contains zero live biological agents, zero active spores, and no organic matter capable of regeneration. The product poses no phytosanitary or bio-security risk to the importing country. Imprinted by maker See less
