A charming pair of solid wood benches embodying the unfussy beauty of rustic furniture from italian mountain valleys. Each bench features a single-plank seat with a rich, aged patina, ranging from warm tones of dark walnut to honey, evincing the marks of decades of authentic use. The sturdy, block-shaped legs are crafted from thick wooden beams and join directly to the seat, reflecting the direct construction methods typical of rural artisans.
a notable detail: the original square holes on the seat surface—remnants of previous structural or decorative elements that attest to their genuine provenance and artisanal origin. The wood retains its natural grain, cracks, and aging, which are celebrated rather than concealed.
these benches are perfect as table seats, entryway furnishings, or sculptural objects in rustic, wabi-sabi, or industrial interiors. Structurally solid and ready for immediate use.
they are similar in materials and construction but differ in dimensions:
bench 1: width: 147 x depth: 25 x height: 40 cm.
bench 2: width: 164 x depth: 25 x height: 39 cm.
