Early 20th-century painted wood commercial display case featuring a slant-front glazed upper showcase above a rectangular lower display compartment. Both sections are accessed through sliding mirrored rear doors, which reflect displayed merchandise and increase visibility within the case. The original painted exterior has developed pronounced craquelure and an aged surface, while both compartments have been professionally fitted with new red felt. Originally intended for countertop or retail merchandising, the two-piece construction separates at the midpoint for easier transportation and installation.
