The bowl's circular form rises from a flat base to gently flared, straight sides, finished in a lustrous white glaze that pools smoothly and reflects light. Per the maker's design, the exterior carries a bold striped pattern in vivid red and deep cobalt blue separated by crisp white bands. The servers, a spoon and a two-tined fork, are carved from a warm, honey-toned hardwood with a fine visible grain and a smooth, hand-rubbed finish. Their bowls and tines are cleanly shaped, and the slender handles swell into tapered, bullet-shaped grips glazed in high-gloss red with a cobalt tip and a ribbed cobalt collar, each edged in a thin white line. These ceramic-and-wood handles echo the bowl's palette and unify the ensemble. The contrast between glossy ceramic and natural wood adds textural depth, while the saturated red, white, and blue scheme feels playful, graphic, and unmistakably mid-century Italian.

Use this set for tossed salads, pasta, or fruit at a summer table, or display it on a kitchen island or open shelf as a colorful accent. It complements Coastal, Mid-Century Modern, Mediterranean, Eclectic, and Maximalist interiors, especially tables dressed in linen and natural textures. The bowl measures 8¾ inches in diameter and 3¼ inches high. Hand wash the bowl with mild soap and a soft sponge, and wash the servers by hand only, drying them promptly; never soak the wood or use a dishwasher. An occasional rub of food-safe mineral oil will keep the wood supple. The set is in very good vintage condition, with a glossy intact glaze, no visible chips or cracks, and light wear on the utensils. Make it yours today. See less
