**Introduction**

A visually powerful contemporary British landscape by Andrew Belderbos, portraying whitewashed cottages nestled amongst the dramatic Carneddau Mountains of North Wales.

Belderbos gives the landscape a strong sense of scale by positioning the cottages as comparatively small elements within the mountainous terrain.
