A beautifully preserved matched pair of authentic vintage MCM Heywood-Wakefield step end tables M-308-G in the company’s iconic Champagne finish.
Made during Heywood-Wakefield’s celebrated mid-century period, these tables feature the sculptural, streamlined design for which the company became known: softly rounded rectangular surfaces, elevated upper tiers, tapered splayed legs, and wonderfully expressive natural wood grain.
Both tables retain their warm golden Champagne finish and display beautifully as a pair. The two-level design offers substantial usable surface area while maintaining an unusually light, architectural profile.
The undersides retain original factory markings, including the Heywood-Wakefield eagle trademark and CHAMPAGNE finish stamp, along with additional factory/model markings.
Constructed of solid wood—Heywood-Wakefield’s mid-century furniture of this type is associated with solid birch construction—and made in the United States. Period examples of the company’s Champagne step tables date to approximately the 1950s.
