Each vase … Read more An exceptional and impressive pair of Chinese Canton Enamel (Guangfalang) two-section floor/table vases, dating to the 20th century. Each vase is lavishly decorated in the classic "Hundred Flowers" (Baihua / 百花不露地) design, depicting a dense and vibrant array of peonies, chrysanthemums, and various seasonal blossoms against a soft turquoise-blue ground. The flared foliate rims and interior borders are finely painted with intricate pink and yellow Ruyi-cloud patterns. Designed in a traditional two-part interlocking construction with exposed gilt-bronze joints and bases. A truly commanding pair with outstanding decorative appeal for fine Asian art collectors and high-end interior design spaces.

Condition Report
Overall in excellent antique/vintage condition. The enamel is remarkably bright and well-preserved with natural patina to the exposed bronze mounts. There is a single minor, light enamel chip along the upper rim of one vase. Otherwise free of major cracks, structural repairs, or loss.
