A beautiful pair of Chinese Famille Rose porcelain "General Jars." The white ground is finely hand-painted with a vibrant figural scene featuring scholars and deities gathered around a Go (Weiqi) board beneath a stylized tree, accompanied by a red deer. The jars feature matching domed lids decorated with birds and floral branches, topped with finials. The shoulders and bases have colorful decorative borders. The undersides bear a blue six-character "Da Qing Kangxi Nian Zhi" (Made in the Kangxi Reign of the Great Qing) seal mark.
