Exceptional set of ten Tuxedo Side Chairs by Lorin Marsh, combining tailored upholstery with strong Art Deco influences. The sculptural solid mahogany frames have a rich high-gloss finish, tapered legs, and polished brass sabot feet that give the chairs a particularly elegant, jewel-like quality. Lorin Marsh is an exclusive design house whose furniture is only available to the trade.
Each chair is upholstered in a sophisticated textured neutral weave of ivory, silver and charcoal, and finished with a contrasting charcoal satin piping. The tall, gently tapered upholstered backs feature Lorin Marsh's distinctive channeled headrest detail and provide a very comfortable experience, while the slim profile and refined proportions keep the substantial set feeling remarkably graceful around a dining table.
The set of ten in these finishes retails for over $35k. Made in Italy. The coordinating Hellman-Chang high gloss dining table shown in some of the photos is also available.
