Chromed steel coatrack 'Coat Tree' by Sidse Werner for Fritz Hansen, 1971 Iconic coatrack designed during seventies by Sidse Werner for Fritz Hansen. The Coat Tree, or "tree with coats" like is called, consist of eight chromed steel tubes folded with black molded plastic balls on each of these tubes. Its merry presence and the match between his shape and chromed metal surely put the Coat Tree on every possible wishlist for the interior design of these decades. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
