Capturing the alert, proud, and playful essence of the smooth-haired Dachshund (Teckel) in a classic standing stance, this fine porcelain figure serves as a highly sophisticated graphic object for discerning collectors and AD100 interior architecture firms alike.

The sculpture is defined by its fluid, modernist anatomical lines and precise, lifelike tension, elevated by exquisite underglaze hand-painting. The gloss finish showcases rich, high-gloss caramel-brown tones juxtaposed with soft, dark charcoal shading around the ears, muzzle, and paws. The underside features the official stamped Hutschenreuther Lion hallmark and Germany insignia. At 5.25 inches long, its compact, expressive silhouette provides a striking contrast, infusing history and sophisticated texture into contemporary minimalist built-ins, Hollywood Regency bar carts, or tiered travertine consoles.
