Rare, vintage Russian signed hand-painted lacquered wood jewelry/ decorative hinged box, circa 1970's. Magnificent representation of old Russian culture and history. A hand-made piece designed by Russian Master artist Novozhilova P (translation in English)., a globally recognized traditional Russian folk artist.
This beautiful piece features a rich and vibrant floral pattern, green leaf details, rowan berries and a majestic firebird (songbird) in the center.
