The rounded, oval body is embossed with a repeating diamond-lattice texture that convincingly mimics the natural criss-cross rind pattern of the fruit, finished in a warm, sunny yellow that varies subtly in tone across the surface to suggest natural shading and dimension. Crowning the body, a dramatic crest of pointed, blade-like metal leaves fans outward and upward in a lively, dynamic arrangement, painted in a rich verdant teal-green that provides striking chromatic contrast against the golden body below. The leaves display individual articulation and gentle curvature, lending a naturalistic, almost botanical quality to what is otherwise a playful decorative object. A sturdy chain link extends from the crown of leaves, allowing the fixture to be suspended as a pendant light, its function seamlessly integrated into the sculptural form without detracting from the piece's charming, tropical whimsy. This bold, figurative approach to lighting design captures the fun-loving spirit of mid-century tiki and tropical decorative arts.

This pendant light makes a delightful statement in a kitchen, sunroom, breakfast nook, or covered porch, bringing playful tropical charm to any space. It suits Tiki Modern, Coastal, Eclectic Maximalist, and Mid-Century Modern interiors particularly well. Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth, and avoid moisture or abrasive cleaners that could affect the painted metal finish. The pendant measures 7¼ inches in width, 7¼ inches in depth, and 20¾ inches in height. It presents in very good condition, with a largely intact painted finish and charming patina appropriate for age, minor wear on the edges of the leaves and slight discoloration on the body, and full structural soundness ready for display.
